You want install a charging station, but don't know how to do it. Here are some things you need to know before installing your device
What financial aid?
The Advenir system offers assistance whose ceiling and amount vary according to your situation:
- Company for fleets: assistance of 30% of the cost with a ceiling of €960 per terminal.
- Shared terminals (parking open to the public in companies): assistance of 60% of the cost with a ceiling of €2,700.
- Private condominium: 50% aid with a ceiling of €960.
- Shared co-ownership: assistance of 50% of the cost with a ceiling of €1,660.

- Condominium works (excluding road works): assistance of 50% of the cost with a ceiling of €4,000 for up to 50 places. Beyond that, the ceiling increases from €75 to €15,000.
- Road works: 50% aid with a ceiling of €3,000.
In addition, if you own your parking space in your main residence and it has been completed more than two years ago, the installation of your charging station is eligible for the energy transition tax credit (CITE) in the fixed amount of €300.
For a single-family house, it is possible to benefit from reduced VAT (5.5% instead of 20%) and from CITE by buying your terminal with its installation. The latter is capped at 75% of the total amount of expenses incurred (labour and equipment) and reaches €300. To benefit from it, the terminal must be installed in your main residence, completed more than 2 years ago.
Outside or inside?
Both are possible. However, if you decide to install your charging station outside, make sure that it is weatherproof and heat resistant in summer. Whether it's raining or windy, the Qovoltis terminal is waterproof, resistant, and can be installed outside without any shelter for safe use.

In single-family homes, the impact of installing a charging station on the electricity bill should not be overlooked. It can increase a household's energy consumption by 50%.
Installing your charging station yourself: is it possible?
Thinking of installing your charging station yourself? This is strongly discouraged, as this device is a very complex product. An installation that is not properly carried out in compliance with standards involves numerous risks. In addition, if the terminal has a power greater than 3.7 kW, it must legally be installed by an IRVE certified electrician.
