Qovoltis and the Jallu-Berthier Distribution Group are signing an unprecedented partnership to equip their customers switching to electric or hybrid vehicles with a high-tech charging solution.
Qovoltis was chosen by the automotive distribution group Jallu-Berthier to offer its customers an integrated and connected charging solution.
An electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle + a charging station installed. A complete and intelligent offer!
Qovoltis becomes a partner of the Jallu-Berthier automotive distribution group. The multi-brand dealership has chosen the Qovoltis charging solution to support its customers during the acquisition of their electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles. Intelligent and connected, Qovoltis terminals are in particular compatible with V2G (Vehicle To Grid) and Plug & Charge systems, standards that will be available by 2023. Ultimately, Qovoltis and the Jallu-Berthier Group plan to reach a rate of 100 terminal installations per month.
A global service for simple and controlled use. A turnkey concept.
The customer buys their charging station at the same time as their electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle. So he doesn't need to spend time looking for a charging solution and an installer.
Qovoltis “takes care” of everything: the terminals are installed at customers' premises before the delivery of their vehicle and guaranteed for intensive use for many years.
The advantage of Qovoltis is based on the quality of the terminals, the safety of the installations, the ease of use and the transparency of the information available. The offer is valid on all models of Qovoltis wall-mounted or free-standing charging stations. The terminals incorporate the best of technology to allow their users, individuals and professionals, to adapt charging in real time according to their need to control their electricity consumption and optimize their energy costs.
Among the +
State-of-the-art connectivity to control consumption.
The Qovoltis charging solution includes a mobile application available for free on App Store and GooglePlay, allowing charging to be controlled remotely and in real time. The user must select three criteria: his departure time and his recharging mode (fast or optimized). With the “optimized” charging mode, the terminal evaluates the best time to recharge according to the low/full time slots, in order to provide the user with the best electricity rate. In “fast” mode, the terminal recharges the vehicle as quickly as possible to meet the needs of users who want to save time.
A connected charging solution adapted to individual homes as well as businesses.
In a single-family home, the Qovoltis charging solution makes it possible to control the charging power of the terminal and to avoid any risk of disconnecting the house. In fact, the charging power adapts according to the remaining power available on the home meter.
In business, the Qovoltis solution based on artificial intelligence ensures the optimal distribution of available electrical power between several terminals installed on the same station, taking into account the individual charging needs of each user at the moment. For businesses, this first makes it possible to properly size the meters as soon as the infrastructure is designed and then to best adjust the available power according to the vehicles connected to the terminals. Thus, a vehicle can be quickly recharged (in fast mode) while the others charge more slowly (in optimized mode).
Terminals equipped with tomorrow's standards.
Qovoltis charging stations incorporate the most advanced technologies to guarantee users a unique experience and a sustainable and scalable charging solution. In particular, all Qovoltis terminals incorporate the future standard Plug & Charge, which will ensure automatic and secure customer authentication only by connecting the vehicle to the charging station. Qovoltis thus anticipates the generalization of the ISO 15118 standard, making it possible to completely eliminate the authentication phase by RFID card or QR Code.
Qovoltis terminals are also compatible with Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology. To do this, they are equipped with a certified bidirectional meter, which will allow the electricity stored in the vehicle to be reinserted into the network or into the house. This V2G solution will transform electric vehicle batteries into storage/destocking places, contributing to the smoothing of renewable energy production and increasing their share in the energy production mix. Renewable energies are by nature intermittent and therefore more difficult to predict and correlate with periods of high demand. The V2G function integrated into the Qovoltis terminals will make it possible to overcome this problem: the “green” electricity charged during an off-peak period and stored in their vehicle battery can be reinjected into the house or into the house during times of high demand.
