Press release: Qovoltis reveals its offer and its ambitions at RIVE

Qovoltis, a key player in electric mobility and energy transition, reveals its offer and its ambitions at RIVE — International Green Car Meetings to be held on July 5 and 6, 2023 — Pôle Mécanique d'Alès-Cévennes

Qovoltis, an SME specializing in smart charging for electric vehicles, will participate for the first time in RIVE — Rencontres Internationales des Voitures Écoloques which will be held in Alès on 5 and 6 July.

Designer, producer, installer and manager of charging stations, Qovoltis has been providing high-tech solutions to businesses, communities, individuals as well as to managers of public car parks and car fleets since its creation in 2019.

Intelligent, connected and with a refined design, Qobox charging stations provide simple and effective answers to support its customers in the transition to e-mobility.

Faced with the development of electromobility and the fleet of 100% electric and rechargeable hybrid vehicles in circulation, facilitating access to charging stations and especially optimizing conditions and costs have become priority issues.

Qovoltis circular electricity generator

On the occasion of RIVE, Qovoltis will take stock of the economic and ecological challenges related to electric mobility and will present its innovations and technological advances in the field of V2G and V2H.

V2G “Vehicle to Grid” technology allows an electric vehicle to reinject some of the electricity stored in the batteries into the public distribution network.

V2H “Vehicle-To-Home” technology uses the same principle, but at the scale of a home or a building.

In both cases, it is a question of storing energy when it is cheapest or when it is produced by renewable energies in order to have it available when prices increase or when the electricity is produced by polluting sources or sources that emit a lot of CO2.

These operations are made possible thanks to the use of a Qovoltis charging station, which is bi-directional and capable of intelligently managing vehicle charges and discharges.

So, V2G and V2H allow:

  • to reinject some of the electricity stored in the vehicle's batteries into the home network or into the public electricity network;
  • to maximize the use of batteries;
  • to optimize the regulation of electricity flows;
  • to favour the use of renewable energies instead of polluting energies;
  • to reduce CO emissions2 and to contribute to efforts to limit global warming and to decarbonize the mobility sector;
  • to make savings.

At RIVE, Ehsan Emami, President of Qovoltis, will speak on Wednesday 5 July at a conference dedicated to mobility in connection with the Energy-Climate programming law. It will present its offer of smart terminals and services for charging electric vehicles and their impact on legislation.

The transition of the automobile from thermal to electric makes it possible to avoid the emission of about 1.6 tons of CO2 per vehicle per year. Choosing the right charging equipment is essential to further reduce your impact on the environment. Qovoltis smart charging stations are already equipped with V2H and V2G technology. They will avoid up to 1 ton of CO2 additional per year and per vehicle and will also reduce its electricity bill. In the current economic and environmental context, it is essential to find solutions that are integrated into a global ecosystem and that involve the various actors in order to succeed in the transition.” explains Ehsan Emami — President of Qovoltis.

Qovoltis optimizer and facilitator of electric charging

Qovoltis deploys a solution High-tech to control and optimize the cost and duration of recharging electric vehicles (EVs). Designer, producer, installer and operator of charging stations, Qovoltis also offers the supervision and maintenance of charging infrastructure. The French SME intervenes throughout the EV charging value chain to facilitate new modes of daily mobility while reducing the carbon footprint.

Thanks to an intelligent and efficient design, using artificial intelligence techniques and patented technologies, the Qovoltis solution optimizes charging while minimizing the impact on the electrical network.

Qovoltis offers an intelligent connected solution as well as a tailor-made service for individuals in single-family homes or condominiums and professionals (communities, businesses, managers of public car parks and car fleets).

Thanks to its innovative solution, Qovoltis is in a position to offer its customers charging for an optimal duration and at the best price. It also makes it possible to reinject into the electrical network some of the energy stored in the batteries of slow/accelerated charging vehicles at the time of peak electricity consumption, at the national level.

About RIVE: the meeting place for sustainable mobility

This annual meeting for ecological cars brings together more than 500 public and private decision-makers in Alès. RIVES make it possible to draw up an industrial, political and environmental inventory, and to anticipate trends and developments in the sector. On the 2023 program: a cycle of 6 conferences, a participatory agora, 5 major witnesses, 34 stands, exhibition vehicles and 1 ecological vehicle test track.
