Qovoltis launches the Qobox mini: the most complete and intelligent electric charging solution on the market and announces new major partnerships

Qovoltis, a specialist in smart charging for electric vehicles, is innovating by creating the most complete charging station on the market. Designer and manufacturer of charging stations, Qovoltis deploys cutting-edge technologies, guaranteeing users an optimized, sustainable and scalable charging solution.

Its offers and terminals incorporate the best of technology to allow motorists to adapt the charging of their vehicle in real time according to their needs, to control their electricity consumption and to optimize their energy costs.

Qovoltis also stands out for its optimized charging management service for users while providing them with the quantity of kWh they need.

1 — Qobox mini : a major revolution in the electric mobility sector

Qovoltis is developing its offer with unparalleled technology. With a compact miniaturized square format of 25x25x10 cm and a simple design, the Qobox mini is an intelligent charging station that is particularly suited to the residential market, in single-family homes as well as condominiums.

The Qobox mini is a concentrate of cutting-edge technologies and includes many innovative and new functions in the same charging station, miniaturized and offered at a competitive price!

La Qobox mini by Qovoltis integrates:

  • connectivity: The Qobox mini Connects to the internet using PLC, Ethernet or Wi-Fi
  • the performance: the terminal has a power of up to 22kW and is compatible with V2G* (Vehicle To Grid) and Plug&Charge** standards. The Qobox mini is one of the first AC charging stations on the market compatible with the ISO 15118 standard!
  • the certified meter directly integrated into the electronic card which allows, for example, to bill the consumption of your professional vehicle to your company reliably thanks to our integrated information system.
  • The safety : the terminal has native circuit breaker and differential switch functions directly integrated into the electronic card.
  • intelligent optimization of charging depending on energy needs and electricity rates. This is an intelligent function developed by Qovoltis that does not rely on the basic off-peak signal sent by Enedis.
  • Real-time charging monitoring in order to be able to modify or interrupt the load instantly according to the needs of the user.
  • self-adaptation of power: the terminal does not overload the network and prevents breakdowns. In a single-family home, an intelligent module (Qometer) connected to the electrical panel ensures the stability of the house's electrical installation by dynamically allocating to the terminal the remaining available power at the meter level.
  • The mobile application which allows the user to be identified, select and follow their “fast” or “optimized” charging mode (mobile application available for free on the App Store and Google Play).

Commercialization: during 2023.

*Vehicle-to-Grid: (ISO 15118-20) makes it possible to use electricity stored in vehicle batteries when demand on the electrical network is at its highest. The batteries of parked vehicles thus become places of energy storage and micro distributors of electricity. **Plug&Charge: (ISO 15118-20) allows automatic and secure customer authentication as soon as the customer connects the vehicle to the charging station.

Qovoltis deploys a network of partners

Since its creation 3 years ago, Qovoltis has been providing a simple and effective response to individuals and businesses in their approach to electric mobility.

Present throughout the value chain, Qovoltis stands out by intervening at each stage: design, modeling, production, installation, supervision and maintenance of the infrastructure.

Building on its expertise, Qovoltis has created synergies and partnerships with players in mobility, financing and real estate networks:

— Andera Partners: in October 2022, Qovoltis and Andera Partners announced a fundraising of more than 10 million euros, mainly provided by Andera Smart Infra 1 and alongside in particular Pâris Mouratoglou, allowing it to double its commercial, technical and R&D teams, allowing it to double its commercial, technical and R&D teams, to strengthen its position as a precursor and accelerate the deployment of terminals in France. This fundraising is accompanied by a commitment by Qovoltis's major shareholders to finance its possible future needs to support the acceleration of its growth.

— Ista: the world leader in water and energy metering services in condominiums. Present in 22 countries with more than 200,000 buildings in its customer portfolio, ista exclusively distributes charging stations ista Powered by Qovoltis, the smart charging solution for electric vehicles in multi-family car parks.

— Jallu Berthier: Qovoltis was chosen by the Jallu-Berthier automotive distribution group to offer its customers an integrated and connected turnkey charging solution.

— Louvre Hotels Group: As part of this partnership signed at the end of November 2021 with Weboost, the Louvre Hotels Group start-up, Qovoltis is deploying a network of charging stations in the car parks of the Group's hotels and restaurants (Première Classe, Kyriad, Kyriad Direct, Kyriad Direct, Kyriad Direct, Campanile, Campanile, Tulip Inn, Golden Tulip, Royal Tulip).

These stations are charging hubs accessible to customers of Louvre establishments.

Hotels Group but also to all passing users who can take advantage of the services of equipped hotels and restaurants while charging their vehicle.

At the beginning of 2023, Qovoltis is deploying its activity and signing new partnerships with:

— The Audi Bauer Group has chosen the Qobox charging station to equip its 5 dealerships in Île de France, and in particular its most prestigious address in Paris Wagram.
From now on, for any purchase of an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, Audi Bauer customers will be offered a combined offer to install a Qovoltis charging station.

Logivolt Territories (an entity launched by Banque des Terratois and a subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts) which will pre-finance collective charging infrastructures in condominiums where Qovoltis and ista deploy their charging solutions under the ista Powered by Qovoltis brand.

Rev Mobilities, A circular economy group and the main industrial promoter of electric retrofitting in France and Europe, has chosen the Qobox terminal to offer its customers buying a retrofitted electric vehicle a complete and turnkey offer.

To cope with this growth in activity, Qovoltis recruited nearly 20 employees and moved to Arcueil in January 2023 in the Green Oak building. A modern building like Qovoltis, triple certified and labeled (HQE, BREEAM, WELL, Effinergie, bio-based building...).
